Maybe you’ve already made your decision. Maybe you’re still deciding. Either way, you don’t need anyone’s permission to want support through it.
We start with a free, no-pressure call, by video, phone, or in person, just to see whether I’m the right person to walk this with you.
As your abortion doula, I offer emotional support, practical information, and physical presence before, during, and after, whatever that looks like for your specific procedure or process.
I don’t take over, and I don’t carry an opinion about your choice into the room. This is your body and your decision. My role is making sure you’re not alone in it, whatever you decide and however you feel about it afterward.
Some people feel relief. Some feel grief. Some feel both, sometimes in the same hour. All of it is allowed here.
Available in person in Cape Town, and online for anyone, anywhere, who wants this kind of support, including when privacy or distance means in person isn’t possible.
This was your choice to make. However it’s sitting with you, you don’t have to carry it by yourself.
Why “Disa Care”
The Red Disa — Disa uniflora, the Pride of Table Mountain, relies on a single pollinator, the Mountain Pride butterfly, found nowhere else but on this mountain either. Each needs the other to carry on at all. It’s a reminder that needing exactly the right support, at exactly the right time, isn’t a weakness in the system, it’s how this particular kind of rare and beautiful thing has always survived.
