Looking for a doula to support you through your birth journey? Whether you\u2019re preparing for a vaginal birth<\/strong>, a planned or unplanned cesarean (C-section)<\/strong>, or still figuring out what birth might look like for you. I\u2019m here to support you, your choices, and your partner<\/strong> every step of the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My birth support begins with a free video call or in-person meeting<\/strong>, giving us a chance to connect and see if we\u2019re the right fit. This first meeting is relaxed and open, a space for you to ask questions, share your hopes and concerns, and get a feel for what having a doula can offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As your birth doula, I offer emotional, physical, and informational support throughout your pregnancy and labour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t take over, I empower you to make informed decisions that feel right for you and your baby. I\u2019m trained to support both natural and medicated births<\/strong>, induced labours<\/strong>, VBACs<\/strong>, and cesarean deliveries<\/strong>, and I work closely with your partner (or support person) so that they feel included, supported, and confident too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Birth can feel overwhelming \u2014 especially for first-time moms \u2014 but you don\u2019t have to go through it alone. With me by your side, you’ll have someone who knows birth, who trusts your instincts, and who will gently guide and support you through contractions, decisions, emotions, and transitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I support births at home, in hospitals, and in birthing centres across Cape Town and the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Included in Birth Support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every birth is unique, and so is the support you receive. I tailor my doula services to meet you where you are \u2014 emotionally, physically, and practically \u2014 whether you’re planning a vaginal birth<\/strong> or a C-section<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vaginal Birth Support Includes:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  • A free introductory video call or in-person meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Two prenatal sessions to prepare for birth and build connection<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A collaborative session to craft a personalised birth plan based on your preferences<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 24\/7 on-call support from 38 weeks until your baby arrives<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Continuous physical and emotional support during labour and birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Comfort measures: breathing, massage, positioning, and calming techniques<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support for your partner or chosen birth companion<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Immediate postpartum support (1\u20132 hours after birth)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Two postpartum follow-up visit to debrief and check in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    C-Section Support Includes:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    • A free introductory video call or in-person meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • One prenatal session to prepare for your birth and recovery<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Guidance and emotional support leading up to your scheduled birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Postpartum support during your hospital stay if allowed (or virtual check-ins)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Three in-home postpartum session focused on healing, baby care, and emotional well-being<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Continued text\/voice note support in the early days postpartum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
